Continuing care groups offer transitional support to clients who have completed a six month sober living program. Groups meet once per week and focus on issues facing young people in early recovery. Clients who participate in the Continuing Care program also attend individual therapy sessions with their primary counselor.
After moving through the more intensive levels of outpatient care, clients have the opportunity to participate in our continuing care program.
Continuing care is a forum for clients moving towards total independence. It is an opportunity to check in on progress in recovery and stay connected to the skills and theories that they gained in treatment. Topics include:
Maintaining long term sobriety
Finding appropriate housing
Work / life balance
Planning for the future: Resume building and continuing education
Staying active in the recovery community
Building healthy relationships
Health and wellness
Budget and financial planning
Sponsorship and 12-step commitments
Dating in recovery
